September 13: New York City
Ricochet's International Man of Mystery, Titus Techera, will be in NYC and is looking for someone to show him a good time. Check out his post.
Fall, probably: Las Vegas
Five years ago Doug Kimball was the Master of Ceremonies for the legendary Vegas Baby National Meetup. He reckons he has recovered enough to do it again. No date has been chosen but he's thinking fall. From the man himself:
Yes my friends. It has been five years since that illustrious weekend when a loud and large contingent of Ricochetti converged on Las Vegas and, well, they were actually quite organized and civil. I’m thinking of a reprise, except this time perhaps we can get the masters to put a podcast together, perhaps invite some of the usual suspects, to give this this a legitimate reason for the unreimbursed business expense deduction. We’ll let Jonah and Rob push their books
Last time, if you recall, we gave out prizes of various sorts to our friends and contributors. Perhaps we will finally initiate an annual Ricochet Pundit of the Year award (think Hasty Pudding for a conservative pundit.)

July 7: Salt Lake City
A few, perhaps many, of us from Ricochet are going to WesterCon 72 which is a fairly large science fiction convention from July 4-7, 2019 near Salt Lake City. After the convention Randy Weivoda will be hosting a Ricochet Meetup. The meetup will be the evening of July 7th and the exact location won't be chosen for a while. Maybe Cedars of Lebanon would be a good choice.
A Weekend in Memphis: TBA
It has been suggested that Memphis is an attractive, accessible and fun place to host a meetup, and may also attract some VIPs that we would love to have drop in. Suggestions & offers to help organize this would be welcomed. Please email me at Melissa@Ricochetmeetup.com for more information.
Ricochet Meet Up is Created By and For the Members of Ricochet.com, and is Where You Can Learn More About Our Unique Gatherings Around the Country and the World. Join Ricochet (first month free here), then Join us at a Meetup!
From Stad:"My primary reason being a member of Ricochet is the podcasts. However, Meetups have moved rapidly up the list, and have topped posting as my secondary reason for joining. Here’s why:
*You meet great people . . .
*They agree with most of what you feel . . *But they may have different viewpoints .
*And you can discuss them without coming to blows . . .
*Then you eat together and be merry. What’s wrong with that?
Friday Night Shabbos Meal with iWc in NW Baltimore
iWcThis is an invitation for all Ricocheteers to come to my home for a Shabbos meal. Friday night meals are very, very special: we prep all week for them... the guests, the menu, even the flowers. The meal (my wife is an exquisite cook) is served on the finest china, along with beautiful a cappella music, first-rate conversation, discussions of Torah and politics, waited on by well-mannered and hardworking children. And the meal is complete with the full regalia of Orthodox Jewish rituals, and with a host only too happy to explain what the heck is going on.
And we do this EVERY WEEK. Which means that we would love to have any/all of you on a Friday night of your choosing. All we ask is one week's notice to confirm in case we are invited out, etc. With only a handful of exceptions over the past 20 years, we ALWAYS have guests, so it is no imposition.
The time: 1 hour after sunset.
The place: NW Baltimore.
The food: you will roll home.
The guests: you tell me!
Let us know!
Monthly Atlanta Meetup

The venue may change from month to month, so if you are interested, send a PM to Bryan or Phil to get the details if you want to attend one.
Thank You, Randy Weivoda!
